Irwan is responsible for implementing financial controls & governance systems, processes, and people to ensure compliance with the respective Production Sharing Contracts, Concession Agreement, and local laws to protect Dragon Oil's financial resources.

 

Irwan has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the International Islamic University (Malaysia).  He also, has a postgraduate degree in EMBA (Energy) from BI Norwegian Business School and is a chartered accountant and an associate member of CIMA (UK) and CPA (Australia), with 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.  

Fiona is a Finance professional with over 16 years’ experience who had joined Dragon Oil in March 2019 as Head of Finance for Turkmenistan.

 

Fiona graduated with a B.A (Hons) in Finance and Accounting from the University of Abertay Dundee in 2002 and shortly after began her early career with Deloitte as an external auditor for 4.5 years.

 

In 2017, Fiona joined Shell Malaysia, where she began her career in the Oil and Gas Industry. In her 12 years’ employment with Shell, Fiona had the opportunity to experience assignments across Asia, Middle East, and Europe, both in the Downstream and Upstream businesses within the industry. 

 

Fiona is an accomplished professional with proven success in leading and analyzing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts while maintaining complex accounting objectives. She delivered substantial bottom-line gains for Shell through her expertise in cost reduction and commercial negotiations with Host Governments and Joint Venture Partners.

 

Fiona has experience with system implementations like SAP and Anaplan and designing and delivering online courses at Shell Open University.

 

In 2014, Fiona obtained her MSc in Project Management, and in 2016 she became a Certified Financial Planning and Analysis professional and is currently pursuing her second MSc in Financial Management, Digital Banking & Internet Finance, expected to graduate in early 2021.

 

Fiona is also a Lean Sig Sixma Green Belt certified individual.

In February 2014, Wahyu Marsono joined Dragon Oil as Team Lead Joint Venture.  He has over 17 years of accounting and finance working experience, mainly in the upstream Oil & Gas industry.

 

Wahyu earned a B.Comm degree in Finance from the Australian National University and an MBA from the Jakarta Institute of Management Studies. He has recently attended Business Analysis for Management course conducted by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

He is a strong team player in the Finance Department who demonstrates a balance between highly qualified practical, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

 

Wahyu has held several managerial positions throughout his career, including the Finance Manager of Petronas Carigali Indonesia operation in 2013 and Head of Management Accounting and Budget in 2010.

 

Before 2010, he served Petronas as Head of Joint Venture Accounting, who handled Petronas Carigali activities in SEA, MENA, and Latin America regions.

Ahmed Al Zarooni is a Senior Account Analyst within the Finance Department, playing a vital role as part of the IFO team. With a deep-rooted belief that accounting requires precision, integrity, and dedication.

Beyond his core responsibilities in finance, Ahmed is also the Treasurer of the Dragon Oil Social Club (DOSC), where he oversees financial management for the club’s initiatives, ensuring smooth operations and proper use of resources to support social events and activities.

Ahmed’s educational foundation in accounting is built on a BSc in Accounting from the University of Dubai.
