​​Mr. Ali Al Hattawi joined Dragon Oil in October 2017. He initially joined Dragon Oil as Head of Financial Accounts with the Finance Department, later promoted to Internal Audit Manager in 2019 and Business Risk & Governance Manager in 2021. He has recently re-joined the Finance Department as the Financial Performance Manager in July 2024. He is also the Chairman of the Dragon Oil Social Club (DOSC).

He has over 26 years of rich experience in Accountancy and Financial Management of which 23 years was in the Oil & Gas industry.

He is known for his jovial spirit and camaraderie infusing the team with positive energy & dynamism. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Merit) from the Higher College of Technology in Dubai and is a member of the International Management Accountants, United States.

Prior to joining Dragon Oil, Mr. Al Hattawi worked in ADNOC for 17 years as Financial Accounts Manager.

In August 2015, Khairul Nazri joined Dragon Oil as a JV Accountant. He has over 11 years of experience in various fields of accounting, namely Oil and Gas Accounting, Auditing, and Planning and Performance.

Before joining Dragon Oil, he worked with Ernst & Young and Petronas. Khairul is a person that delivers results. He also contributes a lot of positive energy to his team and his environment. He has a degree in Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University in Melbourne.

Khairul is currently serving as Budgeting & Costing Controller under the Financial Performance section.

Gloria Villamonte joined Dragon Oil Accounts Payable Team in March 2008 as temporary staff and became a permanent staff in August 2018. Before joining Dragon Oil, she has over 10 years of experience in the Philippines' manufacturing industries. She earned a degree of B.S in Accountancy from the Philippine Christian University in Manila. 

Gloria is an effective team player who delivers as expected, dependable and hardworking. She takes ownership of tasks assigned to her, is helpful, and maintains a good working relationship with all.

Currently, Gloria has the position of Account Analyst under the Financial Performance section. Her primary responsibilities are financial consolidation, Group IFRS assessment, and audit packs & financial analysis preparation.   

In December 2020, AlFalasi joined Dragon Oil as an accountant in the Financial Accounting section. She graduated from Zayed University in 2020, earned a B.Sc degree in Finance with a minor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and currently, Raya is pursuing MSc in Organizational Excellence at Hamdan bin Mohammad Smart University.

Currently, Raya has the position of a Senior Account Analyst under the Financial Performance section.

Mohammad AlTayer, graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor's degree in finance. In March 2023, began his professional career at Dragon Oil, where he specialize in managing and optimizing fixed assets, his work been instrumental in ensuring the efficient use and maintenance of the company's assets, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Biju John is currently the Head Of Financial Reporting  (GL & Group consolidation) and has 19+ combined years of finance and accounting experience in the upstream & downstream oil & gas industry.

He joined Dragon Oil in 2008 and led the financial accounting team; his primary responsibilities include timely and accurate financial performance reporting to stakeholders, ensuring that accounting is conducted within the framework of internal procedures, and compliance with IFRS. He is also responsible for timely completion of external audits for Group consolidated and single entities, accounting controls in ERP, and liaising to finalize critical accounting matters with auditors and the parent company.

A highly driven individual with an eye for detail, Biju has penned over 50 audit review papers on critical accounting matters involving judgments on accounting positions, which were agreed with auditors.  Biju was also awarded the Best Employee of the month in 2014. Before joining Dragon Oil, Biju held finance positions in a downstream company and was responsible for MIS, budgets, analytics, payroll, and day-to-day finance and accounts operations.

Biju is an honors graduate in commerce and holds a Master’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of Calcutta, with a cost accounting certification. He has a keen interest in IFRS, having attended several pieces of training and seminars over the years.

In Jun 2016, Dillip Joined Dragon Oil as a Functional System Specialist – ERP & Applications. He has over 20 years of experience in various domains i.e., finance, tax, auditing, ERP implementation, and support functions. Dillip earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from IICT, Pune, India, with a finance and IT specialization. Dillip also holds a bachelor's degree in commerce with 1st class honors in accounting and statistics and a cost accounting qualification.

Before moving to the IT domain, Dillip has handled critical areas, including treasury, tax, and financial accounting & reporting. Last 15 years, Dillip worked on various system implantation and integrations like Oracle ERP, IDU, COGNOS, Tableau, SharePoint, and Robotic Process Automation. All these applications helped Dragon Oil to bring efficiency in various business processes.

Dillip is currently a Financial Systems Specialist under the Financial Performance section.

In March 2023, Safeya Bin Touq joined Dragon Oil as an accountant in the Financial Accounting section. She graduated from Zayed University, earned a B.Sc degree in Finance. Currently, Safeya is pursuing MSc in Innovation and Change Management at Hamdan bin Mohammad Smart University.

In November 2021, Alia Alfalasi has joined Dragon Oil as an Accountant. Alia earned a B.S degree in Finance from Zayed University in Dubai. Alia's current job title is Accountant in Finance Department. She is part of the Budgeting and Costing Unit and is responsible to revolutionize the costing function within the Finance Department. She is also selected to be one of the few certified Microsoft Power Bi user. And she will use this platform to transform the reporting function on the department. 

Currently, Alia has the position of Account Analyst under the Financial Performance section.
